TNT SPORTS IS A LEADING BROADCASTER OF MAJOR SPORTING EVENTS, INCLUDING RUGBY, FOOTBALL, AND MORE, REACHING AUDIENCES WORLDWIDE
TNT Sports needed short, dynamic motion graphics sequences for VT features as part of their live coverage of the 24/25 Gallagher Premiership Rugby and Premiership Women's Rugby season. The goal was to create high-energy visuals with varying aesthetics that complemented the primarily footage-based segments, adding extra visual interest and excitement, whilst meeting the fast-paced demands of live sports production.
Commissioned by Buzz 16, I developed animated sequences for over 90 VT segments featured in the live broadcasts. These included animated intros, outros, lower thirds, fixtures, score graphics, and even some poster designs, all designed to enhance the storytelling of each piece. Collaborating with 14 producers over the course of the season, I managed multiple requests simultaneously, ensuring all assets were turned around within the shortest amount of time possible, ready to be added to the edits for broadcast the following day. By focusing on sharp, high-energy branded animations, I ensured the visuals captured the intensity of the live sports environment while showcasing varied aesthetics tailored to the target audience, teams, players, and matches.
